Home Growth Conversion Optimisation
Growth — Conversion Optimisation

More from the traffic you already have.

Doubling traffic doubles the media bill. Improving conversion by a third costs the same next month as it does this one.

Significance
declared before launch
Losses
reported too
Revenue
the only success metric
The problem

Why this usually goes wrong.

Most CRO is guesswork dressed as science: untested hypotheses, tests stopped the moment they look good, and "wins" that never appear in revenue.

We start with research — session recordings, funnel analysis, support tickets, user testing — so hypotheses come from evidence. Then we run tests to proper significance, and we report the losers too.

What's included

Everything in the engagement.

No line items discovered halfway through. This is the scope, written down before we start.

01

Conversion research

Analytics, recordings, heatmaps, surveys and user testing to find where intent dies.

02

Hypothesis backlog

Prioritised by expected impact, confidence and effort. Never by opinion.

03

A/B testing

Run to significance with pre-declared sample sizes and stopping rules.

04

Landing page development

New pages built and tested for campaigns and key templates.

05

Form & checkout optimisation

The highest-leverage surfaces in almost every funnel.

06

Reporting

Wins, losses and learning. A programme with no losing tests is not being run honestly.

What you get

Deliverables, itemised.

  • Conversion research report
  • Prioritised hypothesis backlog
  • Test designs with success criteria
  • Built test variants
  • Statistical results with confidence intervals
  • Cumulative revenue impact tracking
How it runs

Four phases, dated.

01

Research

Quantitative and qualitative work to locate the real friction rather than the assumed one.

02

Prioritise

Score hypotheses on impact, confidence and effort; run the top of the list.

03

Test

Proper sample sizes, pre-declared stopping rules, no peeking.

04

Compound

Winners implemented permanently; learnings feed the next round.

Questions

Answered before you ask.

How much traffic do we need for A/B testing?
Roughly a thousand conversions a month across the tested funnel makes classic A/B testing viable. Below that we use research, sequential testing and best-practice redesign instead of pretending we have significance.
How long does a test run?
Until it reaches the pre-declared sample size, typically two to four weeks. Stopping early because a variant looks good is the most common way CRO programmes produce fake wins.
What if a test loses?
Roughly half do, and that is normal. A loss that prevents a bad permanent change has real value. We report every result.
Do you work on the whole site?
We start where the revenue is: product pages, checkout, key landing pages and forms. Homepage tests are usually the least valuable place to begin.
